Zillertal, as the largest ski center in the world is made for limitless winter sports. 181 state-of-the-art lifts bring you quickly and comfortably from 580 meters to 3.250 meters above sea level. 506 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes offer the right challenges for every taste – from demanding, sporty descents and untracked deep snow slopes to sunny, wide carving slopes for families, beginners and connoisseurs. But that’s not all: Snowboard- Funparks, permanent racing and speed tracks, ski kindergartens and numerous cozy ski huts and wonderfully located mountain restaurants with sun terraces simply delight all guests. During a snowshoe hike we are enchanted by the charm of the winter landscape. We leave the everyday life behind us and enjoy the quiet on our foray through the romantic winter landscape. Experienced mountain guides show you the best tours and also have rental snowshoes ready for you. Snowshoe tours are also offered in different levels of difficulty so that each of our guests can really enjoy such an experience.

Cross-country skiing means fitness and wellness in one. It is a sport that gently strengthens all muscles and joints while leaving enough time to take in the unique winter landscape of the Zillertal. Whether skating or classic – there is something for everyone. Our tip: The high-altitude cross-country trails in Gerlos and Lanersbach are well groomed all winter and very snow reliable. Children love it, adults even more! A fun factor of ten is guaranteed for the whole family, but also for ambitious luge athletes when tobogganing in the Zillertal. Because what could be nicer than doing a toboggan run with the family through the snow-covered winter landscape in the biggest ski area of the Zillertal?
On foot or by mountain railway, then a little hut magic and then a rapid ride down into the valley – that’s how tobogganing is fun. It’s a good thing that 14 well-groomed toboggan runs with a total length of 45 km are available. 28 km of it is also illuminated in the evening so that nothing stands in the way of an exciting night tobogganing!
