Across the Zillertal by mountain bike
On the Isskogel near Gerlos alone, there are around 20 single trails where adventurous mountain bikers can put their skills to the test. Some are red (moderate) and black (difficult) trails. However, beginners will also find suitable tours (green & blue) to practise their skills.

Get up high with the cable cars on your mountain bike holiday in the Zillertal
If you don’t want to start your mountain bike tour in the valley, seven cable cars are available to carry your bike. This means you can get to the mountain Penken, the mountain Spieljoch or the Hintertux Glacier in just a few minutes. Some cable cars, such as the Isskogelbahn in Gerlos, even take bikes for free – but it’s best to check the current prices beforehand. If you ride the single trail at the Wiesenalm, your bike transport is included!

Our tip: Day tickets are often valid on several cable cars – for example, with a day ticket for the Eggalm Bahnen, you can also use the cable cars on the Rastkogel, the Penken and the Hintertux Glacier.
